Requesting a Grade or Last Date of Attendance (LDA) Change
Please note:
- This online process can be used for courses offered Fall 2006 to present.
- For courses prior to Fall 2006, please contact your department.
- Log into My.Charlotte.edu, using your NinerNET username and password.
- Select Faculty & Advisor Self Service.
- From the Faculty & Advisor Self Service landing page, select Grade or LDA Change Request.
- From the Instructor Dashboard, select “Request Grade/LDA Change”
- Select the appropriate term from the dropdown menu
- Select the appropriate course from the dropdown menu
- The class list will be displayed. Select the student for which you wish to request a grade change by typing the student’s ID number in the “Student Search” box, or by selecting the bubble beside the student’s name. NOTE: If a student changes or has changed their name, this will not be reflected in the class list.(Insert screenshot once test class is created)
- Once a student has been selected, the “Request Status”, “Credits”, and “Academic Integrity Violation” boxes will automatically populate.
- Selecting the “Request Status Definitions” link will allow you to view the available request statuses.
- The selected student’s grade will automatically populate. Select the new grade from the dropdown menu.
- Select a grade change reason from the dropdown, and enter any necessary comments.
- If you wish to change the student’s Last Date of Attendance (LDA), you must check the designated box. A Last Date of Attendance is required for all failing (F), unsatisfactory (U), no credit (N), incomplete (I), or in progress (IP) grades.
- Select the student’s LDA from the dropdown calendar and ensure this date is between the start and end dates of the term you selected in Step 6.
- Confirm the new LDA reflects the student’s last recorded academic-related activity for this course
- Select whether or not the LDA change was due to original entry error
- Submit Request
